| "I would most certainly prefer to not die while talking. And suffocation is a most painful way to die." Auren commented in a tone somewhat between wryness and embarrassment. "Dragon types are pretty hand, but unfortunately fairly rare too. A friend with a ridiculously long last name, something like Shwartzentourber, gave me my Penkaz. He's a pretty bloodthirsty little guy too. He's completely obsessed with battle. And he never likes letting a foe go while they are still alive. He worries me sometimes." Auren looked at his above hovering Natrelmon, slightly apprehensive, but fortunately out of earshot.
"Anyway, I'd suggest dragon types to anyone, they are really useful. Someday, when I'm a better tracker, perhaps I could capture you a penkaz. I don't know if you'd still need one by then, but, hey, never know, right?" Auren suggested, rather nonchalantly.

| " You got that one right Auren, as trainers, or no.. We're all pretty much travellers really, anything could happen to us. We could be mauled by a Gen on the road, mauled by a Metosune at night, frozen solid on a mountain path by pretty much any ice type that had a mind to. We could get hurt in an accident during a battle. A Gym leader, or, even worse, the Elite Triumvirate, could completely obliterate all our Natrelmon. But hey, we just gotta keep on living right? So, Penkaz was a gift? Must have been a nice friend to have started you off with your first Natrelmon. Or did you have some before? "
Meanwhile, Night was thinking about this friend of Aurens. Schartzentouber was his name? Man! That kid mus thave been teased none stop growing up! Maybe he's still being made fun of for it today! Or was his name Schwartsentaber? Night really couldn't be sure, after all, Auren had said the dudes name only once. And it was painfully obvious that this guys last name was a mouth full. Night's mind was suddenly invaded with thoughts of a possible wacky first name to go along with this other one. Or maybe that was the guys first name and he had something even worse for his last!
Just then, a small noise seemed to be faint in Night's ears. What was that? He wasn't sure, but he was probably gonna find out. | |

| "I'd personally be more worried about being stabbed by a Gen, and there are a lot of other ways to die. However, wild natrelmon, at least so far, don't seem particularly aggressive. I mean, Orinoco was kind of territorial, but now she's kinda shy. All the rest just got caught before they could do much. Even the Omutiel I caught. Though you're probably right about the high level gyms and Triumvirate. I'd rather lose than lose a natrelmon though, so I think I can pull them out early if the fight goes south. I'm not terribly worried. As long as one plays it safe, you can at least avoid the majority of potentially lethal incidents. And, no, I've never had any natrelmon before Penkaz. And honestly, it seemed like he gave it to me because he couldn't manage much more than his Pendrag. His Pendrag was just as battle-driven as this one and a lot stronger, so harder to keep in check." Auren answered the questions he was proposed fairly nonchalantly. He wasn't terribly worried about death, as he wasn't the type to drive his natrelmon in battle to the point of that much danger. While they were walking they came through a grove of trees. ((Treat this roll as a forest roll!))
