Innate Ability: Prismatic Seal [-]

Whenever an enemy trainer or Natrelmon is affected by an Invocation spell, they gain a stack of Prismatic Seal.

Once per battle, the Invoker may consume [X] stacks of Prismatic Seal when they affect an enemy with an Invocation spell, where [X] is the Rank an opponent has in a chosen School of Magic. For the next [X] exchanges, the individual is unable to use that School of magic.

When an enemy Natrelmon reaches five stacks of Prismatic Seal, the next time they are affected by an Invocation spell they are rooted for two exchanges. Receiving any damage will break this root.

Innate Ability: Prestidigitation

At Rank I, the Invoker can use minor illusions out of combat for various purposes.

At Rank V, the Invoker's out of combat illusions are more powerful, able to include the sense of touch. The maximum size of these illusions is increased to 20 square feet.

At Rank X, the Invoker's out of combat illusions encompass all of the senses and are extremely immersive. The maximum size of these illusions becomes 50 square feet.

The illusions can be detected by mages of an equal or higher rank than the Invoker (in any school), except at Rank X in which case they must also be an Invoker.

Rank I - Shimmering Bolt [10]

The Invoker fires a bolt of arcane energy that deals minor damage but ignores resistances and weaknesses.

Shimmering Bolts that pass through an Invoker’s Veil at any point retain its effects even when they leave.

If Shimmering Bolt passes through an Entropic Seal, it is not directly affected, but will instead apply the effect of Entropic Seal to any projectile that it comes into contact with.

Rank II - Inundate [-]

The Invoker channels for up to [Rank] exchanges, gathering arcane power and saturating both themselves and everything in a [5 + [Rank]] foot radius with it. The next spell (must be equal to or lower than the Rank of Invocation) the Invoker casts (from any School) deals 25% more damage for each exchange spent channeling it, and any persistent effects in the area (such as Celestial Curtain or Invoker's Veil) are maintained during and persist for an additional X exchanges, where X is the number of exchanges channeled. Each instance of magic can only benefit from Inundate once.

Rank III - Celestial Curtain [5]

The Invoker chooses Enhance or Diminish, and creates an Arcane Sigil in the form of a [Rank * 2] foot long line. The sigil creates a wall of energy that distorts the nature of magic that passes through it, depending on which mode was chosen.

Enhance allows the projectile to continue for an additional [5 + [Rank]] feet beyond its normal limits.

Diminish forces the projectile to simply cease to exist after travelling 10 feet beyond the sigil.

When an enemy's spells pass through Celestial Curtain, they gain a stack of Prismatic Seal.

Celestial Curtain lasts for three exchanges.

Rank IV - Essence Theft - 2 AP [3]

The Invoker is able to copy the magical essence of any Natrelmon move that is used within [5 + [Rank]] feet of them, or within the bounds of an Arcane Sigil.

By expending a use of Essence Theft, the Invoker can then use that move as if it were a spell of their own. Its effective level is [10 * [Rank]].

Rank V – Invoker’s Veil - 2 AP [5]

The Invoker creates an Arcane Sigil up to [5 + Rank] feet in radius that shimmers visibly at its edge. Magic cast from inside the sigil cannot be perceived by anyone outside of the sigil until the magic leaves its bounds, and magic cast outside of the sigil cannot be perceived by anyone until inside its bounds.

If Prismatic Seal is activated on a trainer within an Invoker’s Veil, it does not count towards their once per battle limit.

Invoker's Veil lasts for four exchanges.

Rank VI - Spellshatter [3]

The Invoker overwhelms the essence of an enemy's spell, countering it and applying Prismatic Seal to School to which it belonged. This Prismatic Seal lasts for three exchanges and consumes no stacks. Spellshatter can counterspell any spell.

Rank VII - Parallax - 2 AP[5]

The Invoker creates a [Rank * 2] foot long line and specifies a direction in which it flows that must intersect with an existing Celestial Curtain or Invoker's Veil. Parallax is always invisible (except to Invokers of equal or higher rank than the caster).

Whenever a spell would cross the boundary of Parallax, it instead follows the line to its completion and its trajectory is altered to follow the path of Parallax.

Parallax lasts for as long as the sigil which it intersects lasts.

Rank VIII - Entropic Seal - 3 AP [3]

The Invoker creates an Arcane Sigil, an up to [Rank] radius circle, that shimmers faintly at its edge. The shimmer is completely indistinguishable from the Invoker's Veil, except to Invokers of equal or higher rank.

Magic that crosses the boundary of the sigil is destabilised, causing it to tear away at itself as it travels. For every foot that it travels, the magic becomes 10% less potent (reduced distance, area of effect, and power), until it has traveled 10 feet--by which time it simply ceases to be.

Persistent effects within the bounds of the Sigil, except Invocation effects, decay over the course of two exchanges.

Entropic Seal lasts for three exchanges, and its duration cannot be extended by Inundate.

Rank IX - Prismatic Reflection [-]

Spells of the Invoker's other schools apply stacks of Prismatic Seal.

Once per Invoker's Veil, if an individual (human or Natrelmon) crosses the boundary, they are Purged (does not remove stacks of Prismatic Seal). If an opponent was Purged, the Invoker can consume 10 stacks of Prismatic Seal to restore a use of Invoker's Veil.

Rank X - Moonlit Deception [-]

The Invoker is now able to manipulate the boundaries of their Arcane Sigils freely, bending and twisting them into any shape that they desire.

Additionally, Prismatic Seals do not wear off for the duration of the battle. If they have been active for 10 exchanges, they remain dormant unless the enemy is within the bounds of an Invoker's Veil in which case they reactivate until the enemy leaves.
