Innate Ability: Electra Heart

The Stormcaller has the ability to Overload Stormcalling spells that they can cast, granting them additional effects but leaving them unable to use Stormcalling spells of that Rank for a period of time.

Whenever a spell is Overloaded, the Stormcaller gains the debuff "Overloaded: Rank X", where X is the rank of the Overloaded Spell, for [2 + [Rank of Overloaded Spell]] exchanges.

Innate Ability: Amplitude

If an enemy is hit by a Stormcalling spell within two exchanges of having been hit by a prior Stormcalling spell, they are stunned for one second. This effect has a three exchange cooldown.

Rank I – Crackle [10]

The Stormcaller creates a small but potent bolt of lightning that travels at 15 feet per second. The bolt deals major Electric-type damage to targets it hits.

Overload: The Stormcaller can change the bolt's trajectory up to [Rank] times, up to a maximum of a 90 degree shift per change.

Rank II - Superconductor [-]

Whenever the Stormcaller hits an opponent with an Stormcalling spell, they launch X copies of that spell, where X is the number of times that the opponent has been hit by that spell this battle.

Overload: The Stormcaller casts [Rank] Overloaded Crackles. (Superconductor's passive effect goes on cooldown, and the Stormcaller casts [Rank] Crackles.)

Rank III - Stormflash [5]

The Stormcaller marks [Rank] areas on the ground, one foot in radius, that briefly flash with bright light. After two seconds, bolts of electricity strike the marked areas and deal moderate Electric-type damage.

Overload: The Stormcaller instead creates one Stormflash that is [[Rank]*2] feet in radius, deals major Electric-type damage, and has a delay of one second.

Rank IV - Volatile Energy [-]

The Stormcaller casts a free Crackle at the beginning of each exchange.

Overload: The Stormcaller casts [Rank] overloaded Crackles.

Rank V - Conductivity [-]

The Stormcaller's Crackles start at [Rank/2] (rounded up) feet away from them if they so choose. Crackles cast in this way cost double the AP.

Overload: The Stormcaller's Crackles start at [Rank] feet away from them for the next two exchanges and cost double the AP.

Rank VI - Lightning Stake - 2 AP [2]

The Stormcaller calls down a bolt of electricity from the sky over the course of three seconds, which strikes a [[Rank]/2] foot radius for major Electric-type damage.

A solid fragment of lightning remains in the centre of the affected area for the remainder of the battle, which can conduct the electricity from Lightning Unleashed.

Overload: Lightning Stake also benefits from Conductivity, allowing the Stormcaller to cast spells from its location.

Rank VII - Static Field - 3 AP [3]

The Stormcaller creates a spherical field of static electricity, [[Rank] * 1.5]] feet in radius, that deals minor Electric-type all enemies within it upon casting and at the beginning of each exchange for two exchanges. Amplitude does not incur its cooldown if it stuns a target within Static Field.

Overload: When Static Field expires, it releases a massive explosion of electricity, dealing major Electric-type damage to all enemies within range.

Rank VIII - Lightning Unleashed - 3 AP [2]

The Stormcaller launches a bolt of electricity at an enemy, six inches in diameter, that travels at a rate of 15 feet per second and deals moderate Electric-type damage to an enemy that it hits. Whenever Lightning Unleashed deals damage to an enemy, it then casts again at every enemy within thirty feet of the target. Lightning Unleashed can deal damage a maximum of seven times before dissipating.

Overload: Lightning Unleashed can now deal up to fourteen instances of damage and cannot be countered.

Rank IX - Perpetuity - 4 AP [3]

The Stormcaller charges themselves with energy, causing the next three Stormcalling spells that they cast to be cast [11 - [Rank of Spell]] additional times. Perpetuity has a cooldown of five exchanges, and Perpetuity cannot duplicate itself.

If a spell duplicated by Perpetuity would be countered, all copies of that spell are also countered.

Overload: The spells cast by Perpetuity are Overloaded.

Rank X - Storm's Fury [-]

The Stormcaller can cast their Stormcalling spells from any point within a fifteen foot radius sphere of themselves, from any Electric-type move, and from any Stormcalling spell.

The Stormcaller's spells always have the benefit of being overloaded.
