"YES. FINALLY." Exclaimed Saibrah as he looked through the Mountains of Ward with his new Thura wrapped around his arm. He had just purchased four E ranked relics. And now he was happy. And Joe was too.

Suddenly, a wild Gull appeared! The bird let out a threatening screech, diving down towards the trainer and the snake, spinning rapidly. It was very territorial, and it was highly offended by the intrusion of these strange creatures. Further, it felt a vague animosity towards both snakes and electric type Natrelmon as a rule, so was properly enraged at the Thura.

Saibrah ordered Thura to use Radio Waves as soon as Gull came into view. The large snake, which Saibrah could support on his arm (so long as the tail was wrapped around his other shoulder), released a small amount of wave electricity. This would confuse and damper Gull's reactions.

Thura was then ordered to fire its most powerful Multibolt at the same time Gull began to swoop down. The Radio Waves would slow Gull's initial turn to Corkscrew down, giving Thura enough time to fire a large bolt of electricity. Five more smaller bolts branched off, forming a star shape.

One arched up slightly to strike Gull on the head. Two more stemmed to the side to attack its sides and wings. Finally, two more went to attack its underside. Also, the main bolt that the others branched off of was still heading towards its face. All would converge at the same time, and they were spaced so that if it made to dodge diagonally, it would still be scathed on the breast or back.

Dodging this would be hard, because there wasn't an extreme amount of distance between the two. Also, it was spinning rapidly, so it would be disoriented; it would be surprising if the bird could even see the bolt clearly enough in time. And lastly, Radio Waves would affect the bird's judgment and reaction time.

Saibrah backed up slightly to the left, preparing a Feeble Wall and watching to make sure he didn't fall, trip, or die. SO HA.

Ice coated the wings and beak of the bird. The bolt aimed for its head and such struck the ice coating its beak, which, not being a very good conductor, provided an adequate defense. The ones aimed for its wings and such struck the ice coating the wings to a similar effect. The remaining two bolts struck its underside, dealing the damage of several shocks. It let out a screech of anger, still continuing its spinning dive towards the snake-wearing-trainer. A twister formed around it as it spun.

Saibrah screamed at he was thrown back by the Twister's impact, which threw him to the ground about seven feet from where he was standing. He suffered bruising on his arms and back, but it wasn't debilitating, though it was painful. Thura for the most part wasn't injured besides a little dazed from the initial blast.

The Gull, on the other hand, plowed face first into the ground after knocking Saibrah back. This would do some major damage and probably keep it from dodging any attacks from Saibrah. With blurred vision, Saibrah saw Gull laying on the ground, hurt badly. But he could tell that it was capable of getting back up and attacking if Saibrah didn't attack now. With all the strength he could muster, he lifted his arm and ordered Thura to fire a Multibolt directly at the bird.

This did not branch off, and was thus stronger than a Shock. Hopefully, this would knock the bird unconscious, to guarantee a capture.

The bird's body contracted and convulsed wildly as the electricity coursed through its body, feathers blackening, letting out disturbingly drawn out, undulating screeches. Then, it stiffened in mid-jerk, screech cutting off, and went limp. It didn't move. Possibly it was very close to being dead and would require an immediate minor cure...

Saibrah closed his eyes until the bird fell silent. The necessary wasn't always the best. But it was the bird or him, he chose to survive. But he could still help it.. "Come with me Gull, I can help you." With that, he brought out one of his E Relics and let its mist quickly wrap over it, drawing the Gull's essence in. The Relic flashed for a few seconds.. He hoped he capture it..

As soon as the relic made a shrill clicking noise, Saibrah gathered a ball of energy, his Minor Cure spell, and shoved the relic into it. This would heal Gull's fatal wounds. Getting up, Saibrah slowly limped back to Ward, his new Gull in hand.
