Isaac yawned and slid his hands behind his head, interlocking the fingers. The sun was beating down on the plains today, as it had been for the past few days. The air was full of the rustle of the grass and the buzz and whine of insects. He didn't particularly have any aim at the moment; he was thinking about having a look around for some Natrelmon, but wasn't sure if he wanted to make the effort. He'd been feeling uninspired lately. He'd put it down to the location, finally. He'd sketched most of the area, or at least the parts worth sketching.

He slipped his hand to his pocket, feeling the outline of Pendrag's relic. That beast had been a pleasure to draw, sure enough. That strong, sinuous figure was a real joy to draw. He looked forward to trying it in combat. It seemed as though it would make for a very interesting battle. He called it out casually. The dragon appeared on the ground five feet before him, stretching out languorously in the sun. It gave him a sideways glance, as if unsure why he was there for a moment. Isaac gave a hesitant wave. It stared at him, trying to figure whether Isaac was something to eat or ignore. After a few moments it gave the serpentine equivalent of a shrug and lay down, basking in the sun.

Isaac smiled, sitting down himself. Summer was fast approaching. Personally, it was his favorite time of year. Everything was alive and vibrant. Not to mention the warmth, that is.

Eien had separated from Song Lin and Tomiko to do a bit of hunting on his own. His luck, however, didn't seem to be that good. In the plains, he had only noticed a flying Pendrag over a part of it. He approached, curious as to whether or not it was wild at first, but with an analysis of its behavior as he approached - he knew it was a trainers. A bit angered by this, he walked to the area to see the other trainer.

He emerged from some taller grass to Isaac's right, speaking as he did, "You know letting your Pendrag fly around like that here is only going to clear the area of wild Natrelmon. It isn't exactly helping me find any..." It was clear from Eien's voice that he wasn't too happy with Isaac's decision.

Isaac looked over at Eien, confused for a moment. Pendrag hadn't been flying around, had it? He looked at the dragon sternly. It continued to soak up the sun, either asleep or making quite a good act of it. It didn't look particularly mobile or airborne. In fact, it was practically the antithesis of movement. It was definitely not soaring. He looked back at Eien. Well... the dragon's presence could, um, scare wild Natrelmon in the immediate area...

"Oh, um, sorry. I didn't realize..." Isaac grinned sheepishly, fumbling for Pendrag's relic to recall it. "So you're a trainer?" he asked, reaching down to pick up the card where he dropped it.
