And thus, with Dotix at his side, Luke again searched in the forest.

((Giving up chances for rerolls.))

Luke would come upon a small yellow dragon, almost to be confused with a Wispy by the casual viewer. It looked over at the boy and dog, glow intensifying slightly as it tensed, watching the pair carefully, trying to decide if they were a threat...

Seeing the Natrelmon, Dotix immediately sent out its radio waves ability to lower the reaction time and overall awareness of the dragon in a rather invisible fashion, and then acted on that advantage by giving a strong, forward charge towards the creature, Dotix brimming with static electricity. Dotix, being a rather manuverable Natrelmon that would be faster than the slightly weaker Faeron before it, would prove rather difficult to simply evade.

The dragon released the charged lightwave as the Datic came in range, deciding by the aggressive movements that it was a threat and irritated by the radio wave. The attack would certainly be a damaging one if it hit. Meanwhile, as it launched the attack, the dragon backed away, beginning to glow again...

Fortunately, with the speed Dotix had, it was already in close range, and its electric casing had primed just a moment before Faeron could fire its lightwave... still, it held its technique, not using it at the present moment. Rather, it ducked down slightly and continued its forward advance with a slight strafe to the right, the wave previously aimed at its face now soaring over its back, the large amount of released power dissipating as it missed, the Dotix now within point-blank range, as it released its own energy directly after Faeron's attack: electric casing.

From Dotix's exposed side, a blast of static electricity came out in a flash, which would surround the Faeron and encase it in an electric bind, interrupting all focus and making the Natrelmon immobile for roughly two exchanges. Given the speed and range of the attack on top of radio waves effect, there would be virtually no chance of evasion from Dotix's attempt...

The light around the dragon suddenly flashed brightly, without warning. The Datic, watching it carefully, would be completely blinded and unable to attack physically, which would come in handy if, say, it planned on trying to bite the dragon. It was a natural reaction. It was open to attacks...

Thunk.

Though Dotix was blinded, its ears were fine, and, since the Faeron couldn't move at this time, not having dodged the electric casing, Dotix would be free to attack as it wanted, and, of course, it did. Unleashing its innate ability, Dotix let forth a high voltage at high speed directly at the place of the noise, which would, most likely, cause the Faeron to lose consciousness due to the overall power of the attack, and comparing Dotix's power to Faeron's.

Ow.

The electricity struck the dragon, and it let out a roar, or at least the closest thing it could get to a roar, which was a sort of growling yip. It seemed damaged, but was by no means unconscious. It was naturally resistant to electricity, and the electric innate was somewhat weaker than an actual high voltage due to the low level, so the trainer had evidently overestimated its power. The glow around the dragon continued to increase in intensity.

But, since the pain of the next attack would break focus anyway, even if the Faeron were planning a lightwave as the casing broke, it would prove to be a futile endeavor: at the next instant, the Dotix let forth its four-pronged multivolt, twisted into one 'point' which would strike directly at the center of the creature, directly before Dotix would slam its paw on top of the creature, slightly restrained in power but with enough weight to both prevent it from flying away and to be unable to look at Dotix. Meanwhile, Luke pulled out a D-ranked relic, and waited, preparing...

Resistant or not, it had to be fairly weak at this point...
