It was a few hours after his loss to Eien, and Ridley was in slightly better spirits. Olena was beside him, active and refreshed by the combination of a good few hours' rest and the late-afternoon-cum-dusk light. Ridley had, despite his postive outlook after surrendering to the skilled tactician, brooded for several hours after the loss, mainly concentrating on anything he could have done better, or especially anything he had done incorrectly. That was his main fear.

After the battle, he had returned into the shopping district of Lifan and purchased the revolutionary experience pills - those magical little tablets that boosted Natrelmon by varying degrees based on level - and a few more Relics. Thus, armed fresh with both the Relics and the several new moves that Olena was equipped with, he had headed into the forest, yet again, to attempt to find a Natrelmon to add to his party, or at least a rare one that he could trade.

Beside him, Olena was practising rigorously with its new moves. From the shadow, Olena ripped a small amount of the metaphyiscal substance. It then worked the substance quickly and powerfully, forming it into an array of small knives - Dark Blades. Then, it flung them around the clearing at specific targets - the forks of certain branches, knots and kurls. These were all substitutes for vital parts of Natrelmon. Ridley, meanwhile, looked around for Natrelmon.
