Carl walked around aimlessly in the plains. He had left Lifan some time before, so it wasn't an issue. After this, most likely, he would travel down to Toran to face the Arena leader there. He reflected on his earlier battle with the Ocalia, and how his stupid strategy combined with the Ocalia's natural cunning had caused him to lose it. He had gotten over that after a while, but it had disappointed him because he had also lost the Beginners Tournament battle. Carl sighed inwardly and continued on. Crowire floated next to him, looking around excitedly.
Crowire, it seemed, felt raring to go and try for another Natrelmon. Carl emphasized with that, considering they were both disappointed after their previous losses. Crowire was a steadfast ally, but his and Carl's battling techniques left a lot to be improved, Carl mused. The plains themselves were grassy and open. It would give Carl and Crowire a major advantage, should they come across another Natrelmon this time. Carl did not intend to let this one go so easily like how the Ocalia had gotten away. He began to look around like last time.
Looking around, it seemed, was Carl's best method for tracking Natrelmon. No doubt, though, that this time a Natrelmon would surprise him, because there was no trees or foliage for it to hide behind. Carl also knew that the plains Natrlemon, like the forest Natrelmon, had a way of blending into the scenery. Carl hoped that this time, he could utilize the open plains, plus Crowire's speed and pinpoint accuracy as a way of capturing a Natrelmon for himself. He began to focus and look around, scanning the environment for any anomalies.
