Saibrah likes caves. Somewhat. Y'know, I'm not sure if he does or not, considering he's never been in a cave. But, he's a miner, so he'd probably enjoy it. Let's find out. [Caves]

Saibrah entered Ward with a certain cautiousness. His good friend Sven had warned him of the city, and had refused to travel along with him; though he would rendezvous with him in Relin. Though it looked like a quaint little miner town, with stone buildings and cobblestone roads, his guard was never quite lowered. Saibrah had figured Sven had had a bad experience here, maybe a vacation gone awry. Nevertheless, Saibrah kept his much more powerful Orkora wrapped around his left arm, poised to attack in an instant.

It took a good ten to fifteen minutes to reach the entrance of the cave upon arriving at Ward. "Let's shed some light, Orkora." Sparks flew from horn to horn, illuminating the damp walls of the cave. "Hmm.. While I'm looking for Natrelmon, I might as well search around for some gems. I do need the cash." He stopped at spots where small bulges formed in the rock wall, and asked Orkora to Pressure Jet the areas of interest. Most ended up being empty pockets of air that formed as the cave pathways eroded.

Orkora was all too happy to oblige. It loved being around its master, helping whenever it could. As they delved deeper into the cave, it hissed with delight at the time it was spending with Saibrah. Saibrah also enjoyed the moments of bonded he had with his Natrelmon. Suddenly, the pitter-patter of feet reverberated throughout the cave walls. Saibrah immediatly picked up his pase, awaiting his chance at a Natrelmon. He hoped it was a Kyonshi, Saibrah had heard that those Natrelmon were adept at aerial battle, something he had never done and wished to participate in.

It had been an entire day in the cave; for Saibrah was determined to find a useful Natrelmon. He had come across a powerful Durajacket, but it was easily repelled by Orkora, because Saibrah hadn't wanted it. He has packed ample supplies for the journey: food, water, sleeping supplies. He let Orkora rest in its relic whenever they stopped, and gave it a little to nibble on here and there. Unfortunately, the Durajacket was the only thing they had seen, and they had not come across a single gem.

"Carefully now, Orkora. Pressure Jet the wall." The snake, wrapped around Saibrah's arm, let a drill of liquid shoot from its mouth, circling around the edges of a large bulge in the wall. "Ok, wash the dirt off." He asked, detaching the chunk of rock with a strong yank. Orkora let a Water Jet wash over the rock, clearing the hardened dirt and rock. It looked shiny, but even the Sparks racing across Orkora's horns couldn't completely make out the image. It might have just been a shiny geode. Nevertheless, Saibrah stuffed it in a coat pocket and continued down the ever-narrowing cave pathway. He realized the farther he walked, the closer he came to the end of the cave..

Saibrah really did like caves. They were quiet and calming, and he had no problem with sudden drops or claustrophobic situations. The damp cave walls and the intriguing rock formations were like a home away from home to him. Though he somewhat longed for the temperature of the outside atmosphere, the shining sun on his skin. But he quickly forgot his longings after watching underground wildlife swim through the cave creeks, or gazing at shining geode stalagmites glitter when light shone upon them.

Suddenly, a noise was heard deep in the cave, near one of the more open areas. Saibrah sped up his pace, drawing the F Relic Sven gave to him before he entered Ward. It was a silver amulet to be worn around the neck, but Saibrah converted all his relics into the medallion that, through a magical force, converted into a stone replica of the Natrelmon he wished to release.

Saibrah was leaving the cave, but suddenly, he heard a chorus of wild Natrelmon behind him. He took out his lone F Relic and ventured down once more with Orkora wrapped around his arm.

(I'm going to cry if I don't get a single thing..)

A glowing green slug emerged from behind a stalactite on the ceiling. It didn't do much. It was a slug.

"Orkora, Multibolt and then Pressure Jet." Orkora, as silently as it could, fired three bolts of electricity from its mouth. One arced up without coming too close to the ceiling, and would descend upon the slug from above. The other two swooped down and then came up, one coming at it from the bottom left of its position, and one to the bottom right.

Then the snake then fired a mighty drill of water from its mouth. It would follow the Glog with this attack if it made a move to dodge the Multibolts.

The slug edged back behind the stalactite, firing a goo jail toward the Orkora as it did so. One multibolt hit the stalactite, as did the water blast, the other multibolt was off target by the way it moved, and the last struck the goo jail, venting its energy into the projectile to cause it to lose cohesion. Meanwhile, the slug was now out of sight... the trainer would have to try harder than that.
