Isaac left the Pinehearst shop disconcerted. He'd spent practically all the N he had left on a few cheap relics, and he wasn't really sure how he felt about that. He and Ashlee were probably going to leave for Toran or Ward or something soon, though he hadn't heard from her for a while on that, so he was going to go for one last Natrelmon hunt before leaving. This being the case, he needed more than the few relics he had on his person at the time... well, providing he found Natrelmon. Still, he might have needed that N... Well, he would get more than enough N from gyms and such later on.

Ashlee had caught all of those rare Natrelmon, and he'd not even seen one in the wild. Well, when he was with Ashlee he had, but that didn't really count. He felt as though he were more or less keeping pace with her as far as the strength of Natrelmon went, but with amount and rarity... there was really no comparison. He felt as though he were, well, obligated to catch something rare if he was going to travel around with her. He knew she probably didn't care, but that didn't help remove the feeling he was somehow letting her down. He had to find something rare in this search...

After a while he came to the edge of the forest, where the trees were a little more spaced and there was more open ground. The chance of finding a Natrelmon this far out was low, but he was still willing to take a moment to look around. He drew a card from his pocket, smiling at the picture. Petal had grown so much over the past few days. That battle against the Feshru had really helped her. He called her out, casting his eye around the area. The Sakura-re appeared a moment later, yawning and stretching her branches out toward the sun.

Auren was walking through the forest, hunting natrelmon. For some reason, today, he felt like he was going to see a horde of natrelmon. Or at least be walking around for a long time. Who could say? The RNGs only could say. If they felt like it. Which they would after a while. Auren decided to pass some of the time by thinking about his bizarre timeline. He had a number of events in his life which he felt he had experienced part of, yet that were not resolved quite yet. Like the Orinoco, Panzer, and Kusamengi he felt like he was still trying to capture. Perhaps they were dreams that lingered on the outside of his consciousness, half-day dreams, half night-dreams.

He knew he'd certainly like to have the Panzer, so he could understand dreaming about an encounter with one of those. But the rest he was unsure about. Perhaps the Orinoco was a remnant carried over from his previous encounter with an Orinoco? But the Kusamengi? He hadn't even heard about those before he had looked them up after having the dream. That was the most eerie of them all. Could he have dreamed about something before he had even seen it? If it was a coincidence, then it was a most disconcerting one. However, there was truth in the concept that, due to the vast number of potential number of coincidences to result from any action, the fact that any one coincidence is terribly unlikely matters naught.

Of course, the Kusamengi's position of the most eerie dream/unresolved occurrence would be shattered as Auren encountered Isaac Kinsley. As Auren rounded a bend in the forest, he came face to face with another participant of one of his strange half-dreams. Or, perhaps face to side, depending on Isaac's positioning. "Isaac Kinsley? Hi. Uh, fancy meeting you here." Auren's speech halted slightly as Auren found it rather awkward to be seeing someone that he wasn't sure he had met before and in what context it might have been. Or perhaps there was another reason entirely and this whole post was bogus nonsense with no relation to anything. Cheers.
