Night hits the Plains

" Arrgh! I never thought this would be so boring! I mean, come on Shiner! It's been literally forever since we started tracking down this Omu and we've got nothing! " Yelled Night, exasperated, as he traversed through ankle high grass as his Kaigara and friend, Shining Knight, sat on his head, it's eyes drooping low, even though it would be obvious that the top of a human head wouldn't be much of a comfort to sleep on anyway. But, like it's owner, Shining Knight was pretty lazy, and it wasn't that unusual for it to sleep on things people ( Or Natrelmon ) wouldn't normally even attempt sleeping on, or near. Anyway, if we get back to Night yelling, it was all about his current profession he was trying out, which was being a professional Tracker.

Having caught himsel an Omu the other day, Night was happy, but figuring that he had on Omu, and he himself was a Tracker, he should be able to find another one and profit! Unfortunately for him, this wasn't quite the case, as he would soon learn, Night would have had to be a pretty skilled and talented Tracker, one with plenty of experience under his or her belt, to attempt to find a rare creature like an Omu on the Plains in broad daylight. They had been searching for awhile in vain, though Night believed if he didn't find an Omu, he would most likely find something else that was good, or at least interesting to have. Still, it was very frustrating to have wasted all this valuable time he could be using to find and capture various rare and exotic Natrelmon that no one else would have been able to find, or he could have been using it to travel to Toran to challenge his father. Or if he was busy and worse came to worse, Night would have to fight his little sister, Christina Westing.

Anyway, Night was currently bounding through ankle high grass with Kaigara sitting on his head. Hoping to find an Omu or some other Natrelmon that would be useful to his party. Like..... A Metosune or something. Maybe even a Gen! Those things were cool, being Fighting types, something Night liked but didn't have yet. Even better, he might find a Meu! Now those were much better than Omu! Not as sought after, but better if you wanted to levitate the opponent before slamming it into the wall with nothing but your mind for effect. All this thinking had caused Night not to really look where he was going, though it may have been a blessing for something passed in the corner of his eye quickly.

~ Go time! ~ Thought Night gleefully as he took Shining Knight off his head and placed the little turtle onto the ground next to him. ~ Don't let me down Shiner! ~
