The Hunt Continues!

Kyo and Sakura-re finished their training in the other side of the shore, and Sakura evolved into Sakura-re when Kyo found a nearby shop a few miles back. It was late in the afternoon now. "Alright now...according to the map we are...hmmm where ARE we?" Kyo said to himself looking at the map and realized that it was backwards.

"Oh...that isn't good at all." He added looking around the area then at Sakura who had a irritated look on her face. "Ahhh don't worry Sakura-re! We'll find out where we are...I hope." said Kyo with a laugh then got a bit worried. Walking around the shore he wondered why all the Natrelmon are hiding from him though after this he will not be on a journey tomorrow since he had things to do.

"Man...how will I get back to where I wanna go?" Kyo then looked around going deeper into the shore and right now it wasn't the best idea to do. Sakura-re was just fine rooted on Kyo's backpack and absorbing the sunlight as part as her energy source. "You're really lucky your a plant...I wish I could get food into my system by absorbing the damn sunlight..." Kyo complained as he looked at the map trying to see where he was going either up or down or just in a circle.

Rollin

"Man! This damn map is freaking useless!" Kyo yelled out throwing it on the floor and walked on without it back the same way he came. Now he was back to the same area he started and it took him a damn long time to WALK back to where he began his search. "Ok...maybe the bushes will do...and maybe I can use Sakura-re to my advantage." Kyo said in a evil tone as he was planning something that he prayed would work.

Looking around he ran towards a bush and made Sakura-re a life like tree by rooting herself onto the ground. It was weird for a Sakura tree to be at the shore but it was something funny to watch. The bush was actually made for hiding for some reason since it was very roomy inside the little hut.

Kyo as he waited took out a riceball, he wanted a snack, he knew he was going to get something this time, if he didn't well he would cry like a real man. He waited and waited for something to happen, he saw a few people jogging and others just walking with their spouse. "Mannn!! Come on please something happen!" Kyo said to himself as he thought of a plan he should of done a while ago.

This plan was so awesome so creative that only Kyo's mind would come up with this ever so brilliant plan. Most people would think it's stupid but of course to Kyo it isn't since it will work for sure, a lot of people used this plan for thousands of years. Now to put his plan into action he needed his trusted Natrelmon once more. The funny thing is he did this plan earlier but didn't use it right, now what could this plan be?

The plan is very simple and Kyo would do it right now! The plan is to bait the Natrelmon to come to Kyo instead of Kyo going to it. Now many people now would think didn't Kyo already do that before? Well almost though he didn't leave his food out in the open WITH HIM HIDDEN. This is something that anyone would say "Ok that's stupid." maybe it is though it was a good plan to do in my opinion.

"Hey Sakura! Use Grass Razor to get those fishes!" Kyo yelled pointing at the fishes. Sakura-re jumped up and spun around letting loose four grass razors aiming at the fishes' gills and body that caused them to suffocate and couldn't swim away or breathe anymore just like before. Kyo ran towards the two fishes that Sakura-re got, this time he left the fire running on the fish and it cooked themselves. "I pray to God this works!" Kyo said to himself as he prayed and hid away in his bush.

Kyo finished his rice ball, and decided to keep the other rice ball as he walked, he was still hungry after all. This journey was getting a bit restless he wondered when in the hell he was going to find something. Even though he was getting impatient he knew that things were going to turn out for him, if it didn't he would try another day.

After thinking about it, Kyo wondered what Sakura-re would evolve into if she gained enough experience. So out of curiosity, Kyo took out his PDA scanning his Sakura with the tiny camera that the PDA had. The information came up quickly, it had the first evolution which is his Sakura, it had the attacks it could learn within it's evolution.

"Let's see, you know Siphon Touch...could learn Seed Missile later on..kind of cool that later on you can do all these things." Kyo said looking down more on the info. It showed that later on when it gains experience it evolves into a small Sakura tree which is called Sakura-re. What really caught his eyes were the two next evolutions called Sakura-Oh and Sakura-sei which had a unknown picture next to it.

It said that she turns into a human shape rather than a plant type of look which amazed Kyo though it wouldn't give him much info just a silhouette of the evolution, it was kind of disappointing. It's been a while now, and it's like finding a needle in a haystack. He wasn't sure what was going on but it looked like a trainer battle out in the far regions again.

It looked very interesting to see a fire type against a water type and both of them kind of heavy. The two trainers duked it out with amazing speed using spells of all sorts, you could tell they were experienced. Kyo kept walking, for some reason he didn't want to see the ending of the battle since he knew that both of the trainers were good and that either way the two won in their own way.

It was a sappy way of thinking but it was something healthy other than thinking 'I gotta win EVERY TIME!'. "Hey Sakura, if you lose will you ever give up?" Kyo asked and Sakura nodded side to side. I guess that meant that she will never give up, a good attitude for Kyo's Natrelmon he then started to remember about his mother when looking at his Sakura necklace.

Kyo then remembered what his mother said "The best thing that has every happen to me, is giving birth to my only son, you Kyo." with those words she put her hand on his cheek then suddenly, the hand lost it's warmth and fell on the bed, she died. Kyo let a tear fall from his cheek, you can't help it cry while remembering a deceased mother.

The tear fell onto the floor, though he wasn't really sad but smiling this time. "I'll make you proud mom, I promise." Kyo said to himself as this is pretty emotional thinking while looking for a Natrelmon though what else do you expect from a long search? Sakura-re looked at Kyo, she understood him, they had a bond that let them know in some way what the other meant. She hopped onto his head and started to "sing" it was in a way soothing though it wasn't word singing.

Sakura's voice wasn't a type of vocal but more like "the wind singing", a gentle melody of the tone that Sakura-re had. "Thanks, that made me feel better in a way." Kyo replied sitting down on the sand. Kyo took off his sneakers sitting on the shore, he wanted to think for a second and didn't pay attention at the moment for looking a Natrelmon. Kyo petted Sakura smiling at her, "Man...I can't wait for our first battle. It's going to be amazing I can tell." He said with a smile.

"Man...my feet hurt like hell!" He added with a laugh then laid on the sand looking at the blue sky and white clouds rolling by. "It's been a few hours hasn't it? I don't know I'm still kind of hungry." Kyo said taking out his fish which he almost forgot about. This one was bigger than the last one probably the fish was a adult and the other was still maturing.

The crispy look of the fish was still there, and the rich smell of cooked food lingered in the air again drifting somewhere out in the area for others to smell. "Now this is food I wonder if I should get a few more before we go hit the camp before nightfall." Kyo said getting up and putting his fish on a napkin from his backpack. He looked for any fish nearby so he could get Sakura to get a few more this time, but it looked like all the fishes knew his evil plot, they didn't want to be consumed.

Currently, the nice smelling, tasty, and mouth watering fish was out in the open, it was certainly a nice piece of meat, well fish is actually in the fish category by itself. I wonder why fish isn't considered a meat, but anyways back to our story, Kyo was getting tired of waiting for fishes and the fact that this paragraph has to be done already (broke the fourth wall!). "Awww come on! I want this to end already!" he yelled out.

Kyo and Sakura stayed in the tree for a while with no sign of any Natrelmon coming by, just a few couples, children and people going by from time to time. "Jeez...waiting for a Natrelmon can be REALLYYYY boring." Kyo said as he leaned on the tree trunk as Sakura kept looking in case anything happened. "Alright! I mustn't lose hope! I gotta keep going and believing in myself as corny as that sounds!" Kyo said as he stood up and fell off the tree from losing his balance, hitting his head on the floor. "Ouch..." he mumbled after he got up.

Sakura jumped on his shoulder , deciding to go look somewhere else Kyo walked along the shore a bit longer. He was getting thirsty with the walking and searching so he decided to take out a bottle of cold water for himself. It felt good drinking cold water after a long trip, something about the liquid tasted so satisfying to him. "Hey Sakura, want some?" Kyo asked looking over his shoulder and Sakura answered happily.

Kyo stopped giving the bottle to Sakura and she almost drank the whole bottle that was bigger than her own body. "Wow, I guess grass types love water as much as people, maybe more." He said laughing. "Alright let's keep searching." He added throwing away the bottle and kept walking. He looked around hearing the roar of the water hitting the ground then sweeping back into the infinite ocean.

Kyo wondered what type of Natrelmon he was going to find, he did want to capture something that would help conquer Sakura's weakness type like something good against fire or something like it. If he saw it he knew what he would get. It's was now past dinner and Kyo was getting really hungry again, I don't think he has eaten since he came into town luckily for Sakura-re all she needed was sunlight to eat.

"I'm starving...oh wait! I have some rice cakes!" Kyo said in excitement as he took off his back pack looking inside his container to find that his rice cakes were missing from it. After looking behind him he saw that Sakura ate his rice cakes much to his dismay "SAKURA! Why did you eat my only source of food! You have photosynthesis for Christ's sake!" Kyo said as he started crying.

He looked towards the ocean, fish jumping out of the water near the shore, yes! That's it! "Hey Sakura-re! Use Grass Razors to get those fish!" Kyo yelled pointing at the fishes. Sakura jumped up and spun around letting loose four grass razors aiming at the fishes' lucky that the fishes were around again.

Kyo ran towards the two fishes that Sakura-re got at light speed, his mouth was watering. Now making a fire he cooked the fish, he was happy and thanked Sakura for her assistance on getting his food. The fishes started to cook slowly the smell was amazing to Kyo, his nostrils were filled with the sweet scent of a good meal! After waiting a while he got the first fish and ate it happily, sharing some with Sakura-re though she didn't like fish too much.

"Well...after eating this I guess I can keep on going looking for a Natrelmon, can't keep going on a empty stomach." Kyo said looking at his fish, and spitting out any tiny bones he found. The second fish was almost ready to be eaten as well, the smell of it said that it just needed a few more minutes. "I wonder what I should do with the other fish, hmmm might as well as save it for later, looks like it's going to take me a while to find something." He said taking another bite.

Kyo kept on walking since he didn't really find something he wanted, . Looking around he wondered what kind of plan he should do this time, was it a good idea? I have no idea so Kyo decided to run this time across the shore something told him that there was something out there.

Kyo and Sakura-re have been searching for a while again, it seems like standing out in the open wasn't such a good idea. "Hmmm, I think I should hide again it's better than standing out here...right I'll do it once more!" Kyo said to himself snapping his fingers at his brilliant yet obvious strategy that he did do last time with no results Sakura sighed.

He hid this time behind a large rock so he could see the open space, it was aodd going from tree to large rock. Kyo and Sakura looked around hearing the roar of the water hitting the ground then sweeping back into the ocean. Kyo wondered if he should capture a water type after all Sakura's weakness was fire so a water type would be I guess nice, though he wanted to be surprised with his find.

Getting a bit hungry now because he didn't eat breakfast Kyo this time had food with him thanks to making some rice balls using his emergency kit, why he didn't do it in the first place when he got hungry yesterday is beyond me. "Alright...let's hope we can find something good." Kyo said as he ate one of his rice balls, oooo that felt good eating something nice.

Peaking over the edge of the rock Kyo's eyes were present, above him were Sakura's eyes lurking it wouldn't give away their place to anyone. "Sakura, just punch me if you see anything..." whispered Kyo to her beaming his eyes to whatever moved, it looked like they were in war or something by treating their prey like some kind of enemy that wanted their country, something like that I can guess.

"Hmmm, I gotta think like a Natrelmon, if I was one, I would hide until the human disappeared...soooo I have to be stealthy!" Kyo said to himself snapping his fingers once again Sakura-re sighed, she knew that should of been the first thing to do but of course Kyo was kind of stupid at some points.

Kyo saw a tree and ran towards it, as he ran he jumped up hitting his foot against the tree to jump onto the large thick branch, good enough for him to hide. Opening a gap on the leaves only Kyo's eyes were present, above him were Sakura's eyes lurking in the leaves though it wouldn't give away their place to anyone.

"Alright Sakura-re, yell if you see anything..." whispered Kyo to her beaming his eyes to whatever moved, frankly it was a tad weird how he was searching for a Natrelmon yet very adventurous in a way! It was weird how he had a feeling of dejavu.

As Kyo tried to feel adventurous there was a fiery looking shrew passing by, wait that was a Natrelmon! "Whoa!" Kyo said then covered his mouth, taking out his PDA scanning the Natrelmon. "Feshru, the fiery shrew Natrelmon, the Feshru looks like a foot and a half tall shrew, on fire and with very very, sharp front claws. It is nearly bipedal in it's skeletal structure, and runs equally fast on all fours and on two feet. It's fur, with the common "on fire appearance" is very dense and long, providing it with some measure of protection, though potentially overheating it. Because of this, the Feshru actually goes north in times of summer, rather than south for the winter."

Kyo took out a Relic D Plastic Card, for now it was a clear white, very sturdy and water proof! Perfect for a fire/fighting type. The Feshru wasn't paying attention, it was minding it's own business trying to find food, and Kyo was in a perfect spot to throw the card. "Alright, let's do this." Kyo whsipered kissing his card and threw it skillfully from the hiding spot. Feshru wasn't alert enough to know the card was coming, after all it was a card what sound could it make? The card hit Feshru, it floated mid air for a second then turned Feshru into a glowing red light that got sucked into the card. After the light was gone, the card flew back to Kyo, now the color was in a fiery red, orange, and brown color. "Yea! Sakura-re we caught a Feshru!" Kyo yelled out proud that all that hard work didn't go to waste.

Night was very, very, Very, VERY happy today, ecstatic even. After travelling to Lifan on a trip that took a whole day, signing up for the tournament, and staying there for a few more days to capture some Natrelmon and compete with other trainers, it was GREAT to be home! Night had immedietly, for no charge ( He was glad about that, the inns in Lifan were blood suckers! They had forced him to simply camp on the outskirts of the city when he needed to sleep ) gone and slept in his own room, and his own home. He had nearly forgotten how comfortable it was to sleep in a bed you had owned for quite some time. But, alas, after making it home and greeting the family, he was a trainer on his journey, and naturally thatmeant he had to defeat his father's Gym and be off again.

But, Night needed to do one last thing before he did. He needed to catch more Natrelmon, and train the ones he already had. Grabbing an F relic from a Pinehearst store ( Of course, after he exchanged pleasantries with the store clerk as he knew the guy well. They talked for about twenty minutes about Natrelmon, merchandise, and how the others family and friends were doing, as well as things that were going on around town ), Night made his way to the nearest beach, and sank his bare feet into the sand. Since he had been at his house, Night was able to change into the clothes he wouldn't normally have during his journey, a brown bathing suit that had art of a fiery Emleaf on one pant leg, and an equally fiery Feshru on the other. Wearing flip flops and no shirt, Night seemed to be enjoying this time to be home, and felt great satisfaction when he stuck his bare feet into the warm sands of his childhood on the beach of Toran.

Walking along the coastline of the beach, where just the wispy tips of the waves were able to touch, Night searched, while enjoying the sun and purposefully trying to make deep foot prints in the sand, for a Natrelmon. He remembered Natrelmon always being around here, which was why this place wasn't incredibly crowded, this part pf the beach wasreserved for traiers and Natrelmon, as you didn't want your tourists and beach party crowd to complain of being attacked by a giant Kelqua. It was just then that he came across another trainer, who seemed to be engaged with a Feshru. ~ I better help him out! ~ Thought Night, taking out his relic, but a splash to his left told him he would be using his blank one instead of Shining Knights right now....
