Soft Sands [Beach] Empty
PostSubject: Soft Sands [Beach]   Soft Sands [Beach] I_icon_minitimeTue Apr 27, 2010 10:21 pm

"Hello?" Answered a semi-curious voice. Saibrah's PDA, as he was relaxing on the beach with his Ekibu, rang with an unknown caller on the ID. The voice was somber with a hint of thankfulness strung into it. "Hello." Monotonously answered the other voice, confirming the exchange of pleasantries. "I was just wondering," the man began, "if you were the kind fellow who marked the way to the private oasis. Am I speaking to ST, by any chance?" Saibrah's heart immediately sank; someone had found his pond. All of that work covering his footsteps, all of that work disguising the marks on the trees, for nothing..

"Yes, yes I am." The voice on the other end replied. Sven was delighted. He had cross referenced every name with the initials ST that had visited the Lifan NatreMart(HAHAHAHAHAHAHA). Luckily, only one had popped up. "Well, I'd like to thank you, Saibrah." Sven had known his name from the beginning, considering he had checked the store's information. There was no metagaming involved. Sven slipped two F Relic notes into the PDA, and transfered them to Saibrah. "And there is your reward. Don't worry, the secret is safe with me. I, too, enjoy the pond and all its majesty. Thanks again, Saibrah." With that, he clicked the PDA off.

"No, thank you, Sven." Saibrah had gotten the last word in before Sven clicked the phone application off. ~What was that about a reward?~ Wondered Saibrah. Unexpectedly, two F Relics popped out of his PDA. Saibrah instantly knew it was Sven's doing. "Thank you." He murmured, before turning to his Ekibu. "Hey, bud," he toyed, "want to go look for some Natrelmon?" The mole was delighted, barking (whatever form of barking moles do), and wagging the short, stubby tail it had. The two set off on a brisk jog, scouring the beach for Natrelmon.

Saibrah held out his relic and then threw his 100-sided die.

The trainer and mole would eventually come across a snake basking in the sun, curled up in a coil. It was an Orkora, looking somewhat young and weak. It didn't notice them as they approached, but certainly would if they attacked or tried to capture it.

"Quietly now, Ekibu." Saibrah whispered, some fifteen feet away. They crept up to ten feet. "Now, poison barbs. Five of them, horizontally. The barbs were fired so that the Orkora would have to move three feet to either side to dodge them. And that's if it somehow heard the small barbs flying through the air, barely making so much as a whisper.

If one hit, it would reduce attack power and lower health.

All the barbs struck the snake. It hissed, thrashing in the sand, blinded by pain. Small lightning bolts, its electric innate, zapped off in random directions. One of them lanced out toward the mole, probably by accident.

Ekibu simply side-stepped the accidental attack. Saibrah managed a small prayer before the relic's mist crept along the air, traveling towards the Orkora.
