Elemental Quickfacts:

Weaknesses: Ice, Electric
Resistances: Grass, Fighting

Innate Ability: Momentum

Whenever the Wind-type spends AP on a move, they gain one stack of Momentum. Each stack of Momentum increases speed by 1 and increases the speed of their Wind-type projectiles by one foot per second. The maximum amount of Momentum a Wind-type can have is 5 or [[Level]/10], whichever is higher.

Whenever the Wind-type deals damage, they may spend all stacks of Momentum to do that much additional Wind-type damage.

The Wind-type loses all stacks of Momentum whenever they take damage or are crowd controlled.

Slicing Winds [20]
Level 1

The Wind-type gathers wind and launches it as a projectile, one foot in diameter, that travels at a rate of 10 feet per second. Slicing Winds deals minor Wind-type damage to enemies it hits and gives them a stack of windtorn.

The Wind-type can instead infuse a part of its body with windy energy, dealing minor Wind-type damage and applying a stack of windtorn upon coming into contact with an enemy.

Scouring Winds [5]
Level 3

The Wind-type unleashes a great gust of wind in a [2 + [Momentum]] foot area around themselves, gaining an additional stack of Momentum and knocking all enemies hit by it back by [Momentum] feet.

Scouring Winds deals minor Wind-type damage to enemies it hits, increased by one stage for every stack of windtorn the enemy has.

Zephyr [5]
Level 5

The Wind-type sends a gentle breeze in a direction at a speed of 5 feet per second. The breeze is [5 + [Momentum]] feet wide and tall.

Zephyr does no damage, but removes all unfriendly air-based effects in its path and applies a stack of windtorn to enemies it hits.

Shearing Winds [10]
Level 10

The Wind-type pulls a current of air towards itself from a minimum of [20 + [Momentum]] feet away that travels at 10 feet per second. The current deals minor Wind-type damage to enemies it hits, increased by one stage for every two stacks of windtorn the enemy has.

Circling Winds [2]
Level 17

The Wind-type charges for one exchange. At the beginning of the next exchange all enemies within [10 + [Momentum]] feet of the Wind-type are dealt one instance of moderate Wind-type damage for each stack of windtorn they have, and all stacks of windtorn are consumed.

Hurricane Force [-]
Level 20

The Wind-type's wind effects pull enemies in the direction they are travelling at a rate of [2 + [Momentum]] feet per exchange. The Wind-type can optionally choose to be moved by their own effects.

Uplift [3]
Level 24

The Wind-type charges for one exchange, gathering its strength. At the beginning of the next exchange, a huge burst of wind rises from the ground in a [[Level/10] + [Momentum]] foot radius and carries all enemies [5 + [Momentum]] feet upwards with it, dealing moderate Wind-type damage and applying two stacks of windtorn.

Enemies then fall to the floor if they are not capable of flight or immediate movement, taking major Wind-type damage.

Eye of the Storm [1]
Level 30

The Wind-type creates an area of turbulent wind between fifteen and thirty feet in radius around itself that lasts for the remainder of the battle.

Enemies cannot pass through the bounds of the area unless they can fly. Enemies within five feet of the bounds of the area at the beginning of the exchange gain a stack of Windtorn.

The Wind-type can only deal damage to enemies inside the bounds if they are also inside the bounds. The Wind-type can only deal damage to enemies outside of the bounds if they are also outside of the bounds.

Eye of the Storm does not affect human characters.

Focused Current [-]
Level 35

The Wind-type automatically gains the melee benefits of Slicing Winds whenever they use a Wind-type move. The melee benefits of Slicing Winds stack up to [[Momentum] - 2]] times.

Byakko's Fury [2]
Level 40

The Wind-type channels the fury of Byakko, removing all crowd control effects.

The Wind-type then unleashes a furious blast of wind at a target location within the bounds of Eye of the Storm, five feet in radius. Enemies hit take minor Wind-type damage and gain a stack of windtorn.

The wind remains at the location, growing in strength, and at the beginning of the next exchange a swirling dome of restless wind forms that grows 5 feet in radius each exchange until it reaches 20 feet in radius. Enemies hit by the dome of wind take extreme Wind-type damage and gain three stacks of Windtorn.

Stripped Bare [-]
Level 50

All of the Wind-type's damage is increased by one stage for each stack of windtorn the enemy has, but also consume all windtorn. This effect is optional.
