Isaac stood outside the Arena, and took a deep breath. He knew he could handle this. It was only one of ten Arenas, after all. Not even one of the higher tier ones. His Natrelmon would be more than capable. Still, he had a nervous, tingly feeling, like someone about to ride a roller coaster for the first time.

His hand tightened on the handle of his briefcase as he stepped inside... and jumped as the doors slammed shut behind him. He impulsively pressed against them with one hand, and was a little upset when they didn't so much as budge. Ankio was not evil or stupid, High was just filling Isaac's head with idiotic thoughts.

Anyway.. Ankio called out to Isaac, "Ah, a new challenger! Welcome to Ward Arena. Shall we begin the battle?" It was a rhetorical question, as Wune was already being released into a sand pit some twenty feet away from Isaac. The worm cackled and lowered its body until only its head appeared from the sand. There were multiple sand pits near to the one it was resting in, for easy defensive moves.

Ankio turned his attention back to Isaac.

"Come at me with all you've got!"
