High couldn't give me a good title because he sucks

Just a little while after her challenge with the Ward Arena, Ashlee sat on a bench in Ward. She hadn't seen Isaac yet that day, and she wanted to tell him about her victory. She was also excited by her earlier battle and could do with another one.

Feshru sat on the ground in front of Ashlee, not really for any reason. The albino Natrelmon seemed content to merely play in the grass, however.

Isaac wandered through the same area that Ashlee was in, distracted. He was planning on challenging the Ward Arena, but it seemed to be booked for some time. In the mean time he'd decided to train up some of his Natrelmon, but already some of them were beginning to overpower the Arena Natrelmon he'd soon have to face. True, it would make the battle easier, but... he'd wanted it to be a challenge, somehow.

Beside him ambled his Bruse, mooing in contentment every once in a while. His tail swished from side to side with each pace. He looked as though he could get excited about anything at the moment. He was just in that sort of mood.

"Isaac!" exclaimed Ashlee as she saw him walking through the area of Ward she was in. She stood up from her bench and quickly walked over to him. "How are you?" she asked calmly. For some reason, she didn't immediately tell him about her victory over the Ward Arena.

Feshru struggled to keep up with Ashlee, reaching Isaac a few seconds after she did. Feshru seemed interested more in Bruse than its trainer, however. Had the two Natrelmon ever met? Ashlee didn't think so. Feshru looked up at the bull Natrelmon, who was quite a bit larger than she.

Isaac smiled as he heard Ashlee's voice, turning to her. "I'm alright," he responded, for a moment considering mentioning his trouble with arranging an Arena battle but thinking better of it. There was no need to bother her with something like that. "Just enjoying the warm afternoon... How are you?"

Bruse snorted at the Feshru, leaning its head down to nudge the Natrelmon with its nose. It was curious of this strange Natrelmon as well, but assumed it must be friendly, since it was with Ashlee. Ashlee was a friend, therefore anything with her must be a friend.

"They seem to be getting along," Isaac remarked, smiling again.

"I'm... doing really well, actually. I just fought Ward's Arena a little while ago, and I won!" Ashlee couldn't contain her excitement anymore. "Yeah, they do..." said Ashlee absentmindedly.

Feshru leaned back, away from Bruse, as the Natrelmon tried to touch her with its nose. Though it didn't seem to be hostile, it still had a rather intimidating appearance to something as small as Feshru.

"That's great!" Isaac exclaimed, genuinely happy for her. Still, that added another sense of urgency to his arranging an Arena battle. Now he wasn't only delaying himself, but Ashlee as well, if she was waiting for him to move on to the next city...

Bruse blinked, looking at the Feshru, seeming confused. If it was friendly, why was it acting so oddly? Was there a hostile Natrelmon nearby, making it nervous? Or... oh, it wanted a battle! That's why it was being so wary; it didn't want an early attack to be landed! The bull took two steps back and stamped a hoof in a challenging manner, encouraging the fire-fighting Natrelmon.

Isaac glanced at Bruse, taking note of its odd behavior. "Er... do you want to have a battle?" he asked.

"Um... alright," said Ashlee. With that, she moved away from Isaac, Feshru following closely behind her. The pair stopped and turned around when they were about twenty feet away from Isaac and Bruse. "Feshru, Heat Rush!"

Feshru began to build up heat and faced the Bruse, ready to dodge or attack if necessary. Ashlee was also ready to interfere with any spells if she needed to.

So, a fighting type... Isaac thought. Bruse can't fight anywhere but at close range, but this Natrelmon looks as though it would be more effective at close range than the bull... There is no alternative, though. Bruse has to close in to even try to use any attacks, and it looks as though that won' t work out well. This is going to be a short battle... Oh, well. Bruse asked for it.

"Go on, Bruse," he said. The bull started towards the shrew, gathering speed as it moved. A head on approach. Foolish... one might even say bull-headed, given the circumstances. It was the only way the Bruse knew how to fight, though.

"Be ready to advance!" commanded Ashlee. The Natrelmon, though uneasy, remained in Bruse's path even as the Natrelmon ran straight towards it. Once Bruse had a lot of momentum and thus would have a lot of difficulty stopping, changing direction, or precision jumping, Ashlee raised a large slab of stone from the ground with her newly-earned Terra spell. This mound was in the shape of a wedge, about four feet tall and five feet long with a hypotenuse of roughly eight feet. The wedge was placed so that the flat end was directly in Bruse's path and the slope began just in front of Feshru's feet. Bruse would most likely slam straight into this wedge which would deal quite a bit of damage to it, though probably not quite enough to knock it out.

Just as the stone began to rise, Feshru moved forward, climbing up the sloped part of the wedge. By the time she got to the top, Bruse would have just hit the wall and would be momentarily unable to move (Bruse's impact would not be enough to hurl Feshru off of the wedge or make her lose her balance). Feshru would jump off of the wedge and onto the stunned Natrelmon's back, using her claws to grab onto its back and make she she wouldn't fall off. This would also deal a good bit of damage, especially with Feshru's heat rush.

"Bruse, slope!" Isaac exclaimed. As the wedge rose, Bruse continued running, and... rose into the air. Feeble walls were carefully placed to allow the bull to run on an incline as opposed to flat along the ground, the walls shattering as soon as the bull pushed off them. It would reach the top of the wedge at a gallop just as the Feshru did, as opposed to crashing into the side.

Bruse thrust at the shrew with its horns as the two reached the top of the wedge, enhancing the attack with its fighting innate and the close quarters technique.

Unfortunately, the Feeble Walls weren't quite large enough to support Bruse for the eight foot distance it would have to climb to reach Feshru and still retain a decent amount of its momentum. The Natrelmon also was barely prepared for the Feeble Walls and hadn't really had time to adjust his movement to accommodate them; its front feet slammed down hard against the Feeble Walls, greatly weakening them and also harming the Natrelmon's ankles. Once its front feet were off the Feeble Walls, there was nothing else in the immediate area for them to rest on and it didn't have time to prepare a jump, so it fell forward straight towards the wall, impacting it face first with quite a bit of momentum. This would harm the Bruse quite a bit, and also leave it momentarily stunned.

As planned, Feshru jumped down from the wedge and onto Bruse's back, sinking its claws into the Natrelmon for support. Feshru also began to breathe fire on Bruse from its new position on the Natrelmon's back; with the wall, the claws, and the fire, Isaac would have to recall Bruse quickly or it would sustain serious damage.

Isaac recalled the Bruse with a sigh. As he'd expected, it hadn't really stood a chance. The bull was more suited to larger, slower opponents. The Feshru was a smaller, faster one more suited to melee. Really, the outcome had been inevitable. He'd been rather surprised at the spell Ashlee had used. He hadn't been expecting that. Was it a reward from the Ward Arena? Or did she buy it?

"Nice job," he said, a little embarrassed he hadn't been able to give her more of a challenge.

"Umm... yeah," said Ashlee, recalling Feshru before it could hit the ground, since Bruse disappeared out from under it. She was also a little embarrassed, mainly for Isaac's sake. She began to walk towards Isaac. "So... do you plan on challenging the Ward Arena soon? Your Natrelmon could definitely do it."

Isaac nodded. "I would have already, but it was pretty booked. I'll be taking it on as soon as there's an opening, though..."
