Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains] Empty
PostSubject: Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains]   Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains] I_icon_minitimeFri Apr 23, 2010 4:26 pm

Stretching, Eien rose from his bed yawning, having been completely exhausted from the previous days search for a half decent Natrelmon. He had finally found a Goll, which while it wasn't his ideal Natrelmon, was something he thought Kimlee would appreciate as a gift. If not, he was sure someone would be interested in the creature. He knew its higher stages were something that was frequently sought after and main trainers would pay a decent sum for one of those. One of the Elite Triumvirate even had one of them! That fame seemed to add to its value a bit.

After getting ready, Eien exited his room at the hotel on the outskirts of Lifan. He preferred to avoid too much of the bustle of the city, since he wasn't really used to it. This location was more ideal anyway for being able to get to a place finding Natrelmon easily. After his capture of the Goll, he had purchased 3 E ranked relics that night before turning in. With those in mind, he moved into the forest to search for another wild Natrelmon.

After having actually gotten a Natrelmon the other day, Eien was significantly more energized and at least marginally more pleasant about it. He had actually gotten something, for all of his work. It meant that hard work would pay of in his journey, but he definitely wouldn't turn away any help from Lady Luck! Within a few moments of going into the woods, he came across his first Natrelmon. The rustling drew his attention and a summon of Kohitsuji, as dramatic as ever. But what Natrelmon was it? Eien would soon find out....

Eien sighed, the strange Natrelmon not even being one he would consider using a relic on. Irritated, Eien and Kohitsuji pressed onwards. The plains were a lot easier for him to traverse, since there was less of a terrain change. A few areas were a bit of a nuisance, mainly the areas with large amounts of tall grass. That required him to push things aside, Kohitsuji, as well, kept getting slightly distracted by the grass, which it kept attempting to eat.

At that point, he picked up Kohitsuji and held the lamb Natrelmon, but it quickly used its Intangibility to break free of Eien's clutches. It then bounded ahead to go eat some grass, turning invisible as Eien chased it across the plains. Angrily, he chased after the sheep, which wasn't obeying him at all. He sighed, spending the next 10 minutes trying to find the sheep. He finally found it in a more open area munching on the very green grass of the plains. Eien managed to sneak up on it and get it in his grasp before wandering around more.

The lamb only bleated a few times before calming in his arms and going to sleep while he searched. With the lamb in his arms, he searched faster, since he knew they would get really tired if he had to spend too much time holding the lamb. It wasn't heavy, but like most light things in that kind of position, it got heavy after awhile. Being fond of his Kohitsuji, he didn't want to set it down if it was sleeping.

The search was taking quite awhile, but Eien knew he was making more progress than last time. He was much further into the plain than he ever got into the forest. This might give him a better shot at getting a Natrlemon he actually wanted! He knew Albions could occasionally be found here as well, just like the forest. This was a great opportunity for him to get into a new area and potentially get the Natrelmon he was after.

The plain was also a new environment for Eien, which made it a bit more interesting. While it did get repetitive, it was a nice change. Breezes frequently swept through, cooling the area and refreshing him with every burst. It helped keep his impatience in check and his arms holding Kohitsuji. The sheep, while sleeping, would probably appreciate it when he woke up from the nap. It would help keep Kohitsuji refreshed without putting him into his relic.

Once they got a Natrelmon they liked, he probably would spend some time on the plains with Kohitsuji, since it seemed to enjoy the environment more. And, it would allow the ghost/psychic sheep to get a bit of food into it. Eien did keep his eyes open though, even on the sky, for any sign of a Natrelmon he was after. There were lots of Natrelmon that could be in the area, which made it harder to find the ones he was after. He hoped that if any other trainer caught something that he was after they'd be willing to sell it!

Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains]   Eien tries again for a Natrelmon [Plains] I_icon_minitimeFri Apr 23, 2010 5:38 pm

Eien continued his search for a Natrelmon. So far, he was having about the same kind of luck that he had in the forest. The plains, so far, hadn't yielded anything good for him. Where were all of the Natrelmon that were supposed to be so abundant here? He was clearly not pleased by this. Kohitsuji, at this point, was set down so he could focus on finding a Natrelmon. The sheep wasn't too pleased with this change but accepted it as it walked along. The grass moved around its telekinesis, allowing them to move past the grass without breaking it. He hoped, with Kohitsuji's aid, they would be more silent using this method. It gave him a bit of hope that he would be able to find at least another Natrelmon.

The plain was also better for Eien since it was harder to get lost, even though it was nearly impossible to get lost permanently in Nerta with the GPS by Pinhearst. He could still see the Lifan tower in the distance, completely unobstructed by anything. He would always have that as a point of reference for a return trip. After about 30 more minutes, Eien began to turn back towards the tower, his search having yielded him nothing so far. He was still confident he would find a Natrelmon eventually...

Sighing he trudged slowly back. Kohitsuji kept darting off towards random things, but would return second later. He assumed it was some game to it, or it was trying to find the best grass it could. It was fine at this point, since Eien wasn't too concerned with keeping Kohitsuji in check. Clearly, he was not having any luck finding a decent Natrelmon.... Kohitsuji seemed to sense this too. It nudged Eien a few times to let him know to keep searching, which did help. He patted the sheep a few times when it did this, before it darted off again to chase after things.

At this point, he was hoping he would run into a trainer, more than anything else because at least then he would have some company. He was incredibly bored just walking around these plains on his own. The random swooshing of the wind was about the only sound he could here. Waaaaaay off in the distance, he could here some sounds.

Boom...

Boom...

Boom...

He assumed it belong to a larger Natrelmon, probably one that would eat Kohitsuji alive. He made sure to try to stay away from whatever it was, since it definitely could be quite dangerous to him. Kohitsuji seemed to agree, as the sheep Natrelmon seemed to stay much closer to Eien after that. Eventually, Eien would be able to take on those challenges with Kohitsuji without even thinking twice about it. Even if he never found another Natrlemon, he knew Kohitsuji and him could get far enough on their own.

"Don't worry," he told the sheep, kneeling and patting it lightly, "You and I can do this without help from any other Natrelmon if we need to. I just want a Natrelmon that can compete with your power." The sheep bleated softly in response, which Eien took as an agreement to what he was saying. With Kohitsuji's support, there truly was no need to find another Natrelmon. The sheep had the potential to be one of the strongest Natrelmon around, even with its type disadvantages. Sure, ghosts, dark, and water types were a threat, but with the defensive power of Ohitsuji, Eien was confident he'd be able to counter even those abilities.

Kohitsuji nudged him again, "I know, I know, I'm getting back to it. Just needed a rest," he replied to the nudge, rising again before continuing his walk back to Lifan. Part of him questions whether or not he should have captured the plains Natrelmon when he had the chance. But, that chance was long, long gone. He needed to focus on what was ahead of him, not what was behind him. He could question his actions later, if it was part of a strategy, but should type thoughts wouldn't get him closer to his goal at all. He knew what he needed and was staying on course for that.

Deciding to try a different approach, as Eien got closer and closer to Lifan, he began making more noise, "Heeeeere Albion, Albion, Albion!" He knew it wasn't going to work, but was just trying to lighten his own mood a bit. His luck so far with catching any Natrelmon was basically non-existent. A few of the other trainers, from what he heard around Lifan, had gotten some decent Natrelmon. A girl named Ashlee had gotten an Ebe, which evolved into a fairly rare Natrelmon. He couldn't help but be a bit jealous of that. Sure, his Goll evolved into some useful evolutions, but it wasn't too hard to find, especially in the winter when they were a dime a dozen. Once winter came around, everyone would have a Goll, which would make his capture now even less impressive. Even though he had caught the creature out of season, it still didn't change that it wasn't rare and it wasn't a Natrelmon he was after. He hoped Kimlee would like it, or he could use it to set up some kind of trade.

At least, he was comforted by the fact no one had caught any of the Natrelmon he was after. He wanted to be one of the first in this new batch of trainers to catch the Natrelmon he was after and he was going to be as dedicated as possible.

While it wasn't the Natrelmon Eien wanted, he decided to use his relic anyway. It was an Ekibu and had a decent innate, making it attractive to breeders. The light lanced out from his relic, pulling the Natrelmon's being into its potentially new home.
