Innate Ability: Heart of Magic

Every ten levels, Dragon-type Natrelmon become attuned to a basic spell school of the trainer's choice. If the Dragon-type has other types that correspond to existing spell schools they must choose one of those types.

Dragon-types take 50% less damage from spell schools that they are attuned to.

Once the Dragon-type has attuned to all basic spell schools, the next time it reaches a level that is a multiple of 10 they instead increase their resistance to 75%, and then again to 100%.

Innate Ability: Living Magic

Dragon-type Natrelmon choose a spell from a school that they are attuned to that their trainer knows at the beginning of the battle. The Dragon-type may use its Caller's Metamagic and Imbuement abilities with that spell.

Dragons cannot choose a Rank X spell with Living Magic.

Innate Ability: Simmering Fury

Dragon-type Natrelmon are affected by all effects or damage from friendly spells. Whenever the Dragon-type is affected by or takes damage from a spell, they gain a stack of Fury (up to 10). The Dragon-type can only gain stacks of Fury up to [[Level]/10].

The Dragon-type can only cast spells of Rank equal to or lower than their current Fury.

Innate Ability: Draconic Knowledge

Whenever the Dragon-type gains experience, the trainer gains double that amount of magic experience instead of the usual amount.

Savagery [5]
Level 1

The Dragon-type chooses an element that it is currently attuned to. It imbues its melee attacks and Draconic Breath with that element for the next three exchanges, dealing additional minor damage of that element. Savagery has a three exchange cooldown.

Draconic Breath [-]
Level 5

The Dragon-type unleashes a spray of magic-infused breath, either in a cone (10 feet long, 15 feet wide) or a line (20 feet long and 3 feet wide). The breath takes two seconds to reach its maximum distance.

The breath deals damage equal to the stacks of Fury the Dragon-type has.

Draconic Breath has a four exchange cooldown.

Twinned Hearts [-]
Level 10

The Dragon-type can now cast spells from schools it is attuned to and has the requisite Fury to cast.

The Trainer and Dragon-type may use one another as the starting or focal point of their spells.

The Dragon-type has half the normal uses of spells, and these spells cost an additional 1 AP that must be drawn from the Dragon-type's personal pool.

Berserk [1]
Level 15

At the beginning of the next five exchanges the Dragon-type takes one typeless damage and gains a stack of Fury. If the Dragon-type has any Fury when it uses Berserk, it instead takes 2 damage. Berserk cannot be used until the second exchange of the battle.

Consumption [3]
Level 25

The Dragon-type launches a sphere of magical energy two feet in diameter that travels at 10 feet per second. All spells that come into contact with the sphere are stored within (unless they cannot be counterspelled) it.

When the sphere comes into contact with an enemy it unleashes all of the spells stored within.

The Dragon-type can instead choose to absorb the contents of the sphere, becoming able to cast the spells within it or being able to use it with its Imbuement ability.

Consumption does not affect spells that the Dragon-type does not have the Fury to cast, and also does not affect Rank X spells.

Draconic Imbuement [-]
Level 55

The Dragon-type may imbue its melee attacks with a single spell, as per the Magus ability Imbuement. Draconic Imbuement is permanent (for the duration of the battle).

Spell Sculptor [-]
Level 70
The Dragon-type may change the damage type of any spells it uses to a type matching any spell school it is attuned to.
